And so it begins…

I’m starting a blog. I’m starting a blog? I feel so cliché just saying that sentence. Ick. Sooo uncomfortable.

Well, the truth is I’m starting a company. But, the beginning of the company is starting with a blog. A blog where I attempt to be authentic. It will make sense later. Or maybe not.

Anyway, it’s conceited, right? To think that MY thoughts are interesting enough that people would want to actually read them. Doesn’t everybody think they have smart, witty, & unique ideas to share with the world? Why would MY ideas be any different? Ugh, this is sounding like I have such low self-esteem. Actually, I believe it’s more of a how-to-not-sound-snobby-while-asserting-myself type of thing. Which is a whole other issue unto itself…. guess that should be another blog post. Dammit.

My fear is that I will be like one of those American Idol contestants that not only thinks they are an amazing singer, and their family & friends think they are a good singer but, in “the real world” they would probably be better off sticking to bathroom shower karaoke.

Nevertheless, I’m jumping in. For better or worse. Through thick and thin. For richer or poorer. For… well you get the idea.
